All touch-screens are not created equal.
I’ve often wondered why certain devices felt more responsive to touch than others. I always blamed the software, but it seems it’s actually the accuracy of the touch that should also take some blame. If you touch a button, but the screen thinks you touched outside the button… well that could explain some of the non-responsiveness.
The accuracy of the iPhone’s touchscreen is ridiculous, it shatters everything else. The Nexus One has a pretty strong showing, but the Blackberry Storm is atrocious. I’m not surprised many people are not happy with it.

I found this comparison really interesting. I suppose this is why the iPhone is so popular- tracking accuracy and consistency really are integral to user experience when it comes to a touchscreen phone. Note: Kenneth, this is why you need an iPhone not a Nexus One

While you may revel in the fact that you can only install applications His Highness Steve personally approves, I personally detest it. Don’t get me wrong, the fruit phone is executed flawlessly, but when a mere mortal determines what you can and cannot install on your PC, then there is something quite wrong.
